260/365: Bavarian Apple Tort
I made a Bavarian Apple Tort this evening. It’s for work tomorrow. We’re having a little party for one of my co-workers who had a baby. I think it’s a really nice idea, and it’s going to be a potluck, so I can’t wait to eat a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.
I mostly made the tort by myself, however I will give credit where credit is due: it was Amy’s idea, and she made the crust. But I made everything else and I baked it!
Anyway, I chose two photos tonight for the blog entry. I enjoy both of these for entirely different reasons, and I didn’t feel it would be right to choose one over the other. And while I feel both are fairly solid photos, they aren’t so good as to convey how delicious this thing smells. It took everything in me to keep Amy away from this thing when it came out of the oven, but something in me suspects she may have stolen a piece of apple. That’s it for now.
