161/365: Storm Clouds

Just got back from Amy’s softball game – another win (they’re on a roll and starting to look like their old selves again). Absolutely beautiful day today, and a great evening for sitting around watching a ball game. About halfway through the game, a ring of clouds started showing up and getting dark and menacing on the horizon. It was alright though, as it was on the horizon only while the sky above was clear and blue. Then the lightening started. It was quite a scene with the ball field lights lit, a blue sky, a game being played and lightening off on the horizon. Really nice. I took a photograph of the building clouds in the distance, the sun touching their tips before the light got too low.

I’m going to go out back and set up the umbrella on the patio set, pour up a couple glasses of wine for us, and wait for the storm to pass over town. Hopefully, it will be quite the show.
