112/365: Pocket Wizards

Pocket Wizard Plus II’s. These little monsters are amazing and they have brought so much fun to my photography. Mount one on a flash (any flash regardless of make and model and regardless of camera manufacturer) and mount one on your camera, and the camera will trigger the flash. Essentially, you can set up your flash (or multiple flashes) pretty much where ever you want as long as it’s within 1600 feet, and your camera will fire your flash. And really, 1600 feet!? Anyway, while these are a little pricey, they work perfectly every time. As well, I’ve heard of people dropping these in water and on the ground and they just keep working.

Just wanted to give a little shout out to Pocket Wizard. I’m going back to bed now. Been feeling under the weather the last couple days. Holding these PW’s in my hand usually makes me feel a lot better, but I guess I’m just too sick today.

Cheers.
