108/365: Lamp Posts

I couldn’t really think of anything to take a picture of today. I had photographer’s block. I leave early to go to an appointment to get my hair cut and I look up and notice that the light on a lamp post is on. It’s about 3 pm at this point, and they shouldn’t be on. So I stop to take a photo and then I stop again, and so on. On the drive back home, I noticed that a number of lamp posts were lit up and it’s the middle of the afternoon. Anyway, that’s where the photos are coming from – noticing something that doesn’t quite fit with the ordinary, or at least your expectations. That, and sometimes these common poles can make for an interesting subject, especially against a clear blue sky. Anyway, that’s it for today, it’s too nice of a day to waste it sitting behind this keyboard and screen.
