One Year Of Photography by Howard Haby

30/365: Unexpected Surprise

I went for a drive today, the plan being to take some photos and make a panoramic picture. Turns out it’s harder (takes longer) than I thought, especially considering I wasn’t using a tripod so the pictures weren’t as lined up as I would like. But while I was looking through the lens and lining things up in my head,  I heard this roar coming towards me.  Apparently, where I chose to take some pictures is across the road and at the end of the airport runway. Good times!

In the span of about ten minutes, there was about four planes that passed over head. I’m not the plains, trains and automobiles type of photographer, but luckily I snapped a couple pictures because my initial plan didn’t work out (do they ever?).

Well, it’s the weekend! I’m going to a BBQ, the first of 2010 (you have to remember these milestones throughout the year), and I plan on eating too much,  drinking a little, and laughing until my belly hurts. Hope you all have a good one.
